Rolling Hills Equipment is selling a wide variety of grain bins and grain handling equipment at various locations throughout the upper Midwest. These items are inventory that they have accumulated throughout several years in the grain storage business. Please ensure that you check the item location in the description. There is a 10% buyers premium capped at $1,000 for this auction. Lots indicated with an A, B, C, etc are linked items and will end as a group once none of the items have received any bids for 5 minutes.

Loading assistance will be available September 26-28th at the Lakefield, MN location. After those dates, a loadout fee of $100 per hour with 1 hour minimum will be charged for equipment needing any loading assistance due to travel time and distance. Other locations besides Lakefield, MN will will have loadout by appointment only to ensure someone is available to assist with lifting the heavy equipment when you arrive, and there will be no fee for this. Any large items requiring crane work or disassembly are at the sole responsibility of the buyer. We do not offer any disassembly service unless specifically noted in the item. If your purchased items require further disassembly for hauling, please bring appropriate tools. All items are being sold AS-IS and WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.

This auction has a 10% buyers premium capped at $1,000 per item which will be included in your invoice at the end of the auction.

Terms

Please read the terms carefully as they are a legal binding contract between you and AgBids, LLC.

This TIMED ONLINE auction has a 10% buyers premium capped at $1,000 per item which will be added to the final bid price.

 

AgBids reserves the right to alter this agreement at any time. This will take place by updating this website. Please check back and review these terms as every time you use this website, you are agreeing to the terms as they are written at that time.

AgBids reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any auction at any time for any reason.
 

Bidding Information:

When you place a max bid the current bid price doesn't automatically go to your max bid. The computer will automatically bid up to your max in the increments specified as other bidders place bids or in the event of a lot with a reserve, it can bid against the reserve.

This auction has what is called an auto extend feature, meaning the auction will not close until all bidding parties are satisfied. If any bids are placed within the last 5 minutes of the item closing, the lot will extend for 5 minutes. The bidding will extend in 5 minute increments from the time the last bid is placed until there are no more bids, and the lot sits idle for 5 minutes.

AgBids has put forth every effort to make accurate descriptions of the items. Printed or verbal statements made by staff are matters of opinion and are made in good faith. However all items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. You are responsible for your own inspection during the open house inspection periods or by arranging an inspection with the auction representative.

All sales are final. A bid is a legal binding contract between you and AgBids, LLC.

AgBids reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason. No allowance will be made for errors in cataloging, genuineness, defects, or imperfections not noted. If a refund is given, it will not exceed the purchase price of the lot.

Bidder responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Bidders agree to keep their password confidential as they are responsible for ANY and ALL activity involving their account. When using the website you must obey any and all local, state, and federal laws. Violations will result in termination of website use privileges.

Each registered account is considered a bidder once registered on the auction. All registered bidders are treated the same and have the same opportunities to bid and win items on all auctions we host. Auction company employees and/or the auction company may bid on auction items.

We gather aggregate information from this website which may include, but is not limited to: number of page visitors, most visited pages, any and all correspondence. By agreeing to these terms, you give AgBids permission to send auction marketing emails to the email address on the account.

 

Payment Information:

There will be a 10% buyer’s fee, plus sales tax (based on the county where the items are) added to the final purchase price. All fees are taxable if the item is taxable, except the late fee and select title fees if applicable. There is a 3.5% convenience fee for all credit card purchases.

Sales tax will only be removed from the invoice if the correct sales tax exemption form is completed and it’s applicable to the state. Please submit tax exempt forms with your bidder number to support@agbids.com to have sales tax removed from your invoice prior to payment.

Payments accepted during scheduled pick up: cash, certified check or cashier’s check.

Payments accepted before the scheduled pick up: Wire Transfer, ACH transfer or Credit Card (3.5% Convenience Fee)

AgBids does NOT offer any payment plans.

For any cash payments $10,000.00 or more, it is required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that a Form 8300 must be filled out.

A signature must be obtained in order to retrieve your auction items for any payments made by credit card. If you are paying over the phone with an auction representative, you will receive your receipt via email.

If a stop payment is put onto the check used for payment, a $25.00 Stop Payment Fee will be charged. If the check is redeposited by the financial institution, a $25.00 Redeposit Fee will be charged.

If an ACH payment or a check is returned as NSF or any other reason, a $45.00 Returned Check Fee will be charged per check/ACH. In the event of a returned ACH payment or check, the auctioneer reserves the right to repossess the equipment/property involved at any time and at any location.

 

Pick Up Information:

AgBids, LLC employees are present at pick up to assist in guiding buyers to their purchased lots with appropriate advance notice. Customers are responsible for acquiring and loading their item(s) into their vehicles unless specifically stated in the lot description that loadout assistance is available.

Be sure to acquire everything in your lot. You may be charged an appropriate Disposal Fee if items are left behind.

 

Shipping Information:

Regarding smaller items, please call AgBids to check the availability for shipping before bidding, as it is not always available for every item. We ship through USPS, UPS, FedEx and Speedee. If you would like your item(s) shipped from an offsite auction, a MINIMUM $30.00 transfer fee will be applied to your invoice. The items on the invoice and the transfer fee must be paid for prior to the end of the scheduled pick up. Shipping is standard shipping rates, plus handling (typically $25 or more). AgBids will not be responsible for any damage during shipment.

 

Miscellaneous Information:

All disputes will be settled by arbitration in the county the auction took place in or the county of the new buyer.

Media used on AgBids, LLC bidding platform or marketing platforms cannot be used by customers.

 

After Pick Up Information:

If purchases are not settled by the end of the scheduled pick up, it is in default. If payment is not received by the end of scheduled pick up, AgBids will charge the card on file for the invoice amount due, including the auction items, a 3.5% convenience fee on total amount due, a MINIMUM $30.00 late fee, and a MINIMUM $30.00 transfer fee if applicable.

Picking up items outside the scheduled pick up time is often not available and if it is, will incur additional charges. The winning bidder should NOT show up unannounced without permission from the seller, or by being accompanied by a AgBids representative after pick up hours are complete. Trespassing charges may apply, without proper authorization from the seller.

Any paid or unpaid item(s) remaining after the auction end date, and no communication has been made with one of our offices, the item(s) are considered forfeited and become property of AgBids, LLC. If items are forfeited and AgBids property, AgBids can resell item(s) on an upcoming auction and keep consignment money. No refunds or exceptions will be given to customers.

Upon default, the bidder will be terminated on the AgBids bidding platform. If you are terminated and would like to get on good standing with AgBids again, it will be on a case by case basis and it is not guaranteed. Contact us at support@agbids.com for more information.
